As a student and employee of TU Delft, you can download software through the software portal, software.tudelft.nl. These packages have been specially compiled per faculty and tested on macOS. Each student is eligible to download these packages. In addition to the portal there is more software available. Feel free to contact a Student IT Desk for more information.
The following services and programs were installed and tested successfully on a 16 inch Macbook Pro with the M1 Pro chip. If a software is not listed and you want us to test it, please contact us on sid-adhok@tudelft.nl.
The following software, mainly used at the faculty of Architecture, works using Parallels (virtualization software) and Windows 11:
- Revit 2023
The following software does not work either natively or using Parallels (yet):
- Enscape 3 for Windows (macOS version supports only Sketchup)
- Lumion 12
The following software, mainly used at the Faculty of Architecture, work natively on M1 chips with Rosetta installed:
- Adobe Creative Cloud 2023 (PS, AI, etc)
- Microsoft 365 (Office)
- QGIS
- Rhino 7
- Rhino 8
We successfully tested these basic TU Delft ICT facilities:

- eduVPN
